Job summary

National General Insurance seeks an AI/ML Engineer with strong C#/.NET and Azure experience. This role focuses on designing and delivering AI-powered solutions in production, combining software engineering with data processing and Azure delivery.

You’ll build data pipelines, integrate AI into enterprise apps, and work with business partners to translate needs into scalable technical outcomes. The ideal candidate has hands-on ML/LLM experience, Azure cloud proficiency, and strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Software engineering with C#/.NET in enterprise-scale environments.
• Experience with ML, Generative AI, LLMs, or AI automation.
• Python and data processing experience.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and enterprise support.
• Experience building APIs and working with structured data (JSON, SQL).
• Hands-on with Azure cloud services and modern architectures.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to translate requirements for business users into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-enabled applications using C#/.NET and Azure AI services.
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, and automation pipelines.
• Build and integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise applications via APIs.
• Collaborate with business SMEs and technical teams to translate challenges into solutions.
• Evaluate and optimize AI/ML outputs for production readiness.
• Support end-to-end delivery including design, validation, and production handoff.
