Job summary

Sabre Systems, Inc. seeks an AI/ML Engineer & Data Management Specialist (Journeyman) to support the LO LCM mission at NAS Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD.

The role combines data science, AI/ML, and data management across multi-level security environments, with in-person, on-site work and travel under 10%. The candidate will integrate data from multiple offices, apply AI/ML models, develop prompts, and build predictive insights to inform readiness and identify gaps, while ensuring data

Qualifications

• Accredited BA or BS degree in data-related field.
• 3+ years of data science, analytics, or data management experience.
• Experience in multi-level security environments.
• Experience with AI/ML models and GenAI prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Operate across multi-level security environments and communicate effectively.
• Coordinate, gather, clean, and integrate data from multiple offices.
• Structure, maintain, and ensure integrity of large multi-source datasets.
• Apply AI/ML models to support analyses and readiness assessments.
• Develop prompts to optimize AI outputs for project needs.
• Build, validate, and interpret predictive models for LO sustainment.
• Manage databases and design ETL processes with data quality checks.
• Create data visualizations and concise technical reports for engineers and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/NAVAIR security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
