Bluewater Federal is actively seeking an AI/ML Engineer/Data Scientist to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB. The role focuses on leveraging data to drive AI/ML modernization across maintenance and logistics systems that enable mission readiness.

The candidate will develop predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and decision-support tools while ensuring governance and compliance. This position requires a active Secret clearance and experience with Python, ML, NLP, and enterprise analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years AI/ML or data analytics experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience with Python, ML, NLP, data analytics, predictive modeling and AI governance.
• Experience supporting enterprise operational analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to identify AI/ML modernization opportunities.
• Develop predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and trend analysis solutions.
• Support Help Desk analytics, maintenance forecasting, and operational reporting initiatives.
• Create machine learning models and decision-support tools aligned with mission requirements.
• Evaluate AI/ML use cases for operational value, feasibility, and risk.
• Support AI governance, testing, and compliance activities.
• Develop dashboards and analytical products that improve mission visibility and decision-making.
