Job summary

Everforth ECS in Dahlgren, VA is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join a team delivering cyber analysis and defense capabilities for Navy and DoD. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and sustain production‑scale ML systems and software in a mission‑critical setting.

You will work with requirements, perform testing and security reviews, and collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver dashboards, models, and data interfaces while growing your ML and software engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Active or Interim DoD SECRET clearance required with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• IAM Level I certification or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop or modify software applications from requirements specifications.
• Design, code, benchmark, test, debug, and document features.
• Review and sustain enterprise applications; implement performance improvements and upgrades.
• Participate in performance, load, and stress testing; diagnose issues.
• Contribute to security architecture reviews for large systems.
• Engage in full software development lifecycle from requirements to sustainment.
• Create documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
