Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an experienced engineer to own orchestration and agent architecture for AI-driven workflows. You will design, implement, and productionize agentic systems that translate analytical methods into reliable tools.

You will collaborate across data science, data engineering, and governance to ensure clean data, compliance, and cost controls. The role is hybrid with on-site work 2–3 days weekly in NY HQ or other Pfizer sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/related field with strong software engineering background.
• Experience in healthcare/pharma or regulated environments preferred.
• Proven ability to deploy production-grade agentic workflows.
• Experience with agentic frameworks (LangGraph, Pydantic AI).

Responsibilities

• Own orchestration frameworks and agent architecture for AI workflows.
• Build and harden agentic workflows for production use.
• Design prompt architecture and tool/API integrations across agents.
• Translate methodology into deployed, production-grade agents.
• Collaborate with data teams to ensure clean data and governance.
