SI/ML Engineer - TS/SCI With Polygraph Required
BI&A is seeking highly motivated and skilled SI/ML Engineers to join our team and contribute to innovative Super Intelligence (SI) and Machine Learning (ML) initiatives. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, evaluate, and deploy advanced SI/ML models and ensembles across multiple domains, including generative SI, classification, prediction, computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and reinforcement learning. This role will also involve leveraging expertise in SI/ML algorithms, software development, and cloud computing to support the Sponsor’s strategic initiatives.
Position Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy SI/ML models and ensembles to address complex challenges in domains such as generative SI, classification, prediction, computer vision, NLP, and reinforcement learning.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and performance evaluation of SI/ML models, ensuring robustness, scalability, and ethical considerations in line with best practices.
- Develop and implement pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training using structured and unstructured datasets.
- Leverage cloud computing platforms and frameworks for scalable SI/ML model development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders, to align SI/ML solutions with organizational objectives and mission requirements.
- Stay current with advancements in SI/ML technologies, frameworks, and tools, incorporating emerging trends into research and development efforts.
- Document research protocols, methodologies, and findings in formats such as technical reports, GitHub repositories, and analytic publications.
- Provide technical guidance and SI/ML engineering expertise to support the transition of prototypes into production environments.
Experience And Qualifications
Required Education And Years Of Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5 Years of experience on SI/ML or Data Science or highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- 5 years of experience with Python or R programming languages for SI/ML development
- 5 years of experience with Cloud computing services from major providers, including experience with cloud-based SI/ML development and deployment
- 5 years of experience with SI/ML model development and deployment, including model tuning, experimentation, validation, and benchmarking
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SI/ML model explainability and interpretability techniques
- Familiarity with Sponsor's enterprise services, security controls, and data management practices
- Experience with front-end web development frameworks, such as Flask
- Experience with Tableau to produce visualizations and dashboards
- Experience with verification and validation test benches
- Deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras
- Version control systems, such as GitHub

Summary Pay Range
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$160,000 - $250,000
