Job summary

C Mack Solutions LLC in the United States is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join our agile team. You will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML-powered pilot projects and support government-facing systems on a mission-critical program. The role requires strong full-stack skills, experience with Python, Java, TypeScript, Angular, RESTful APIs, and databases.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 7 years' experience in a related field.
• Ability to analyze technically complex problems and develop and implement new and innovative solutions in a fast-moving and fluid software prototyping development environment.
• Expertise in YAML, JSON, Python, Java, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Full Stack development experience including Angular frontend and backend development.
• Ability to work with Data Scientist teams to integrate AI/ML, Big Data, or BI solutions.
• Ability to work independently on a complex task with little direction.

C. Mack Solutions is looking for a AI/ML Engineer with agile methodology experience to join our team and support a complex program to provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems on a mission-critical program for the Federal Government business needs.

As an AI/ML Engineer, here's what you'll be doing:

• Design, develop, and implement custom software solutions for a variety of AI/ML-related pilot projects and use cases including Google Gemini AI.
• Develop and work with APIs including RESTful services, authentication methods, data formats, and handling API errors.
• Use SQL and NoSQL database including to evaluate and choose the appropriate database type based on the application requirements;
• Integrate SQL and NoSQL databases within the same application, when appropriate; and apply advanced understanding of security best practices for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Act as a member of one or more prototyping teams supporting teammates and collaborating to deliver working software applications on short timelines.
• Analyze complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
• Actively participate in agile delivery phases and ceremonies including release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, demonstrations, and retrospectives

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain a CBP Public Trust clearance.

• Expertise in multiple software developer languages including, but not limited to: YAML, JSON, Python, Java, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Full Stack development experience including proficiency in both front-end (Angular) and back-end development, ability to handle all aspects of a web application from designing the user interface to managing the server and database.
• Ability to work with Data Scientist teams to integrate applications with AI/ML, Big Data, or BI solutions.
• Ability to work independently on a complex task with little direction and management oversight.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with live data and video streams.
• Technical certifications such as AWS Certified Developer Associate.
• Experience with DevOps (CICD) solutions such as GitLab.
• Experience with AI/ML solutions or complex solutions for predictive analytics.
• Experience working in a geographically dispersed, remote team.
• Understanding of Data Science principles and best practices.

Work Location:

This position is limited to candidates residing in U.S. states where the company is currently registered to employ team members.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $155,000 annually

This position may be filled at the Senior or SME level based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience. Final compensation will be determined based on level alignment, experience, education, and internal equity.
