Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join the Cyber and IT Risk Management team in Maryland. The role supports SAFe and Scrum practices, automates deployments, and enhances monitoring and security across on-premises and cloud environments.

You will architect, implement and operate CI/CD pipelines, manage logs and security controls, and collaborate with A&A teams to uphold compliance while delivering reliable services to customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience
• 3+ years of related systems programming experience
• US citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Automate and optimize service deployments
• Integrate with enterprise authentication services
• Establish and improve system monitoring while maintaining security protocols
• Architect, build and maintain on premise and/or cloud infrastructure
• Maintain and improve existing infrastructure and build out autoscaling
• Administer production, staging and development environments
• Manage and aggregate server logs and monitor for security incidents
• Maintain and improve build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools
• Apply configuration management to maintain security patches and documentation
• Enforce best practices for security and reliability and drive security initiatives
• Work with A&A teams to maintain security requirements
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of designs/configurations
• Present outage analyses and root causes to management
• Create metrics for dashboards and service health
• Track and ensure routine operations tasks are completed
• Align with customer strategies and DevSecOps pipeline
• Collaborate with other service providers
