Job summary

The AI/ML Data Engineering Intern at Teacher Retirement System of Texas is a paid, full-time limited-term position for summer 2026 in Austin. You will support Data/Systems Analysis, governance, metadata, and dashboards using SQL, Talend, and data models.

You will learn from IT staff, receive training, and may continue part-time later. Start June 4 and end August 7, 2026; compensation is $23.00–$25.00 per hour for undergraduates or graduate students.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
• Transcript required for application.
• GPA 2.7 or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data governance platform setup and metadata repositories.
• Support data warehouse loads and ETL testing activities.
• Help build dashboards showing job details, run times, and data quality metrics.
• Contribute to data models, catalogs, and business glossaries.
