Job summary

Cisco’s DevNet team builds cloud-native AI capabilities used by engineers, customers, and the wider developer community. We turn emerging AI into production systems, with a small senior group owning architecture and live operations.

You will architect agentic AI solutions, design secure microservices on AWS/Kubernetes, and set patterns that raise AI delivery quality and speed across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field required.
• Advanced experience in production-grade software engineering.
• Hands-on with cloud-native architectures and AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build AI and agentic AI solutions with orchestration and retrieval augmented generation.
• Design and operate secure microservices on AWS and Kubernetes with a security-first mindset.
• Establish architectural patterns and engineering practices adopted across teams.
• Lead design and code reviews and mentor engineers to scale best practices.
• Deliver agentic systems in production with guardrails and measurable reliability.
