Job summary

Outlier invites detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media by holding live conversations with an AI voice model, comparing outputs, and explaining what’s off. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and weekly payments.

We provide access to leading LLMs and projects vary by requirements. Earn up to $18/hr with opportunities to boost earnings through Missions and incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining your reasoning in natural conversations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.
• Eligible to apply from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging adherence to prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zoom/replay) to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors, or mismatched audio.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a concise English explanation of your observations.
