Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a flexible, fully remote schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, rate performance, and explain what looked or sounded off in writing.

Your work helps improve AI reasoning and real-world performance across multiple countries. You will review image and video outputs, provide precise explanations, and contribute to a feedback loop that informs frontier AI research.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and the ability to explain what’s off in AI outputs.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors, or misaligned audio.
• Writing a concise, English explanation that points to what was seen or heard and why it matters.
