Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from the comfort of their home. You will roleplay conversations with AI voice models, score exchanges, and explain discrepancies in writing, remotely and on a flexible schedule.

As part of Outlier’s evaluation loop, your work helps improve AI performance in real-world scenarios. Earn up to $18/hr with additional incentives and weekly payments, working from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication for everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation with AI voice models and ranking how natural, useful, and clear each sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors and audio-video mismatches.
• Writ­ing a specific English explanation detailing what you observed or heard.
