Ladders is seeking an AI Manager - Language Models to lead large language model–driven ML solutions in a remote US role. You will guide projects from concept through production, shaping how AI enhances public safety workflows, including 911 call handling and dispatch.

You will partner with infrastructure engineers and researchers to bridge experimentation and deployment, build reusable components, and mentor teams to deliver reliable, scalable AI systems in production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in machine learning or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of direct management experience leading technical teams.
• Experience managing an LLM-based solution from inception to market.
• Experience with cloud-based software engineering.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

For our client, we are seeking an AI Manager - Language Models (US Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This remote leadership role will guide the development of large language model-driven machine learning solutions from concept through production. The position will shape how advanced AI capabilities are applied in mission-critical public safety workflows, with a focus on improving call handling, dispatch, and related operational outcomes. You will partner closely with infrastructure engineers and research scientists to bridge experimentation and deployment, while building reusable components that help move models efficiently from research into production.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $240,000 – $265,000 annually
