AI/LLM Software Engineer

$180,000–$230,000 + Equity

We're partnering with a VC-backed AI startup to help them hire an AI/LLM Software Engineer focused on building intelligent systems that can understand and adapt to complex, company-specific workflows, rather than just generating generic responses.

This is a hands-on engineering role working closely with a small, highly technical founding team (ex-Palantir). You’ll be focused on building and shipping complex LLM-powered products from the ground up, working directly with users and iterating quickly in production.

What You’ll Do:

• Build intelligent LLM applications that adapt to real-world business workflows
• Ship high-quality Python code and contribute to architectural decisions
• Collaborate directly with customers to refine features and improve performance
• Explore and shape the frontier of human-AI interaction and knowledge modeling

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–6 years’ experience as a software engineer, ideally at a fast-growing startup or high-growth environment
• Proven track record building and shipping LLM or AI-powered products
• Strong Python skills and a high bar for code quality
• Interest in human-AI interfaces, complex problem solving, and rapid iteration
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
