Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a Paranoids Corporate System Security Engineer to lead security reviews of corporate systems, third-party SaaS, and AI/LLM products. You will triage high-volume queues, draft dispositions, and collaborate with product owners to ensure controls are in place.

You’ll use AI-assisted tooling to accelerate reviews, support MCP and agentic connection checks, and contribute to runbooks and precedent libraries for faster future assessments.

Qualifications

• 3 years in security review, IT, or related engineering with secure design focus.
• Experience assessing third-party or internal SaaS products.
• Understanding of authentication, encryption, logging, and secure communications.
• Familiarity with SSO and MFA enforcement in identity providers (e.g., Okta).
• Awareness of AI/LLM security basics and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on security reviews of corporate systems and AI/LLM products, identifying risks and recommending controls.
• Own high-volume review queue: triage intake, onboarding, access requests, and configuration checks with documented dispositions.
• Use AI-assisted tooling to triage, digest vendor docs, and draft dispositions; verify accuracy before recording.
• Assist with MCP and agentic reviews: check authentication, scope, consent, and audit coverage.
• Contribute to internal review tooling, rubrics, and precedent library to speed future reviews.
• Support annual corporate-product check-in and SaaS inventory alignment for spec compliance.
• Stay current with emerging threats across corporate SaaS, identity, and agentic tooling.
