Job summary

Aaru is seeking a Legal Engineer (Litigation/Regulatory) to lead predictive simulations for high-stakes litigation. You’ll manage engagements end-to-end, turning litigation questions into rigorous simulations and delivering findings to senior lawyers, while growing long-term relationships with law firms.

The role emphasizes owning matters, collaborating with firm leadership, and shaping how simulations reshape case preparation and strategy.

Qualifications

• JD and at least 3 years as a litigator at a top firm.
• Experience bringing technology into legal practice.
• Ability to shape unclear asks into a crisp workstream.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work fully in-person in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Own law firm relationships end to end, from scoping through deployment and long-term collaboration
• Represent Aaru in senior-level client settings — with partners, practice group leaders, and law firm leadership
• Execute complex, high-quality deliverables independently and at speed, translating rough direction into client-ready outputs
• Partner with litigation teams to translate case strategy into simulation designs
• Present findings directly to partners, practice group leaders, and firm leadership with the credibility of someone who knows how lawyers think
• Work with firm executives to align brand strategy and messaging, and to sharpen how the firm operates and goes to market
• Coordinate across engineering, product, and commercial teams to keep deployments on track, and bring what you learn from lawyers back into the product
• Identify and scope new opportunities, both within the firms you serve and across the legal market
