The University of South Carolina’s Joseph F. Rice School of Law Library seeks a highly motivated, service-oriented librarian to join an academic research library with the primary goal of supporting its 60 faculty and over 640 students, while actively serving the USC community and state government.

The AI Law Librarian will focus on Legal AI and teach technology classes. Responsibilities include providing reference and research services, supporting public services, and developing expertise in

Competenze

• Demonstrated interest in technology, emerging legal technology, and law and technology.
• Teaching experience in AI, legal research, or legal technology is preferred.

Mansioni

• Teach technology classes, including AI and AI skills.
• Provide reference and research services to the law school, university, public, and state bench and bar.
• Support other public services and library duties.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of current and emerging legal technologies and AI initiatives.
