Job summary

Alignerr seeks a Korean Language Expert to help evaluate and improve AI training data for Korean learners. You will assess speech and writing, provide structured feedback, and guide linguistic adjustments to teaching models.

This remote, hourly contract offers fully asynchronous collaboration with project leads. Native Korean speakers with teaching or evaluation experience, fluent English, CEFR familiarity, and a bachelor’s degree (or higher) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Korean speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
• Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels Pre-A1 through B2+
• Identify learner errors and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI tutoring and language-learning models
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction

We're looking for Korean language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for Korean language learning and communication. Your linguistic insight and teaching experience will directly shape how AI understands, assesses, and responds to Korean learners — making a real impact on the future of language education.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated Korean speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment
• Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction

Who You Are

• Native-level proficiency in Korean
• Experience teaching Korean or evaluating learner language
• Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
• Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
• Strong attention to detail and consistent in linguistic judgment
• No prior AI experience required
