Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking an AI Product Manager for Knowledge and Retrieval Systems to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise knowledge via AI-powered solutions.

You will lead RAG and knowledge-retrieval initiatives partnering across business, IT, and vendors to deliver accurate, scalable experiences. You will own the strategy for repositories, semantic search, vector databases, and AI-powered knowledge delivery, while ensuring governance, compliance, and measurable impact on

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with increasing responsibility.
• 5+ years enterprise technology transformation or product/program management.
• 2+ years owning RAG processes in a corporate environment.
• Experience with AI, search, knowledge management, or data-centric products throughout the lifecycle.
• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, and contemporary AI retrieval methods.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise knowledge retrieval and AI-powered service experiences.
• Lead strategy for RAG platforms, knowledge repositories, semantic search, and vector databases.
• Partner with leaders to deliver AI retrieval use cases improving productivity and customer experiences.
• Define ingestion, chunking, contextualization, and governance for enterprise content.
• Collaborate to improve retrieval quality, grounding, citation accuracy, and user experience.
• Lead development of AI agents that use enterprise knowledge for troubleshooting and discovery.
• Define measures like answer quality, query success, citation accuracy, and user satisfaction.
• Establish governance for enterprise knowledge access and responsible AI use.
