GenScript Biotech Corp. seeks an AI Intern to design, develop, and optimize enterprise AI Agents in a high-impact role based in Piscataway, NJ, with remote options for the right candidate.

You will build task planning, tool calling, and workflow orchestration using large language models, and integrate agents with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems to automate cross-system processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in CS/AI/SE.
• Proficient in Java and Python.
• Experience in large language model application development.
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph and Agent Scope.
• Familiar with APIs, databases, microservices and enterprise integration.
• Strong design, problem-solving, communication and collaboration.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

Job Title: AI Intern, Enterprise Agent Development

Supervisor: Head of AI for Industry, Digital & Intelligent Technology Center

Location: Piscataway, NJ (Onsite preferably, but open to US Remote for the right candidate)

Compensation: Targeting $30 - $40 per hour based on experience level.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and continuously optimize enterprise AI Agents.
• Build capabilities such as task planning, tool calling, and workflow orchestration using large language models.
• Integrate AI Agents with enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, OA, supply chain, and order management systems, to automate cross-system business processes.
• Develop and optimize enterprise system interfaces and Agent tools.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to deploy AI Agent solutions in real-world enterprise scenarios.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience in large language model application development, with an understanding of prompt engineering and function calling.
• Hands-on experience with Agent development frameworks, particularly LangGraph and Agent Scope.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, microservices, and common enterprise system integration methods.
• Strong system design, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
