Job summary

State Street is seeking an GHR AI Engineer to build integration layers connecting a React intranet with internal AI services and external vendor agents. You will craft MCP-based connectors and secure runtimes, enabling agentful workflows and safe tool execution.

You will collaborate with frontend, security, and platform teams to deliver scalable, auditable AI integrations, leveraging Python, APIs, and established authentication patterns.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong Python development skills.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, JSON payloads, and authentication patterns (OAuth/OIDC).
• Familiarity with MCP and agent-to-agent communication patterns preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build MCP-based connectors exposing internal tools to AI agents.
• Implement agent-to-agent interaction for multi-step workflows.
• Develop Python services and REST APIs to broker requests between frontend and agent runtimes.
