AI Innovation Lead

A step‑up role responsible for spearheading the company’s external AI innovation ecosystem. This role focuses on discovering, shaping and accelerating high‑impact AI opportunities and ensuring that external innovations align with strategic AI priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Productize internal AI tools – turn prototypes (e.g., agentic pilots) into scalable, reusable products.
• Integrate cross‑functionally – coordinate with infrastructure and data teams to embed external innovations into internal platforms.
• Scout and develop an innovation pipeline – identify emerging technologies and vendors aligned to strategic AI priorities.
• Govern commercial oversight – manage vendor collaboration models, budgets and delivery frameworks to support agile, controlled innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Integration & Change Leadership – experience embedding external AI solutions into enterprise workflows and driving adoption.
• AI Risk & Compliance Expertise – accountable for responsible procurement, cross‑functional compliance and governance.
• Commercial Negotiation & Performance Oversight – record of negotiating contracts, defining SLAs and monitoring delivery for business value.
• Market Scanning & Pipeline Development – continuous tracking of AI trends and building structured innovation pipelines.
• Innovation Program Execution – launch and scale AI initiatives, converting pilots into measurable, scalable products.
• Technical & Business Acumen – familiarity with AI vendor tech stacks (LLM platforms, vector DBs, RAG pipelines), model evaluation and pricing.

USD $225,000 – USD $275,000, dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.
