Job summary

Power Design is seeking an AI Innovation Engineer to lead the 4+1 AI Strategy, building tools, testing ideas, and turning business challenges into measurable AI solutions.

The role requires hands-on AI engineering across LLM applications, retrieval, agents, and tooling, with production delivery and collaboration across divisions. You’ll evaluate new AI tooling and coach division-embedded teams to implement practical AI improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software or data engineering with 1–3 years AI/LLM work.
• Hands-on AI engineering: LLM apps, retrieval, agents, prompts and tools.
• Strong fundamentals in Python, APIs, data handling, and version control.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain to non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Create AI solutions the business uses: agents, skills, retrieval, documentation and automation.
• Evaluate and integrate modern AI tooling; run trials and scale with teams and vendors.
