Job summary

Gotham Technology Group seeks a Senior Engineer to join their AI & Innovation team to build practical AI and low-code tools for attorneys, business professionals, and clients. You'll ship Harvey workflows and Power Automate solutions, lead AI working sessions, and serve as the go-to AI advisor for one of our offices—partnering closely with Learning & Technology Adoption on rollout and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Legal Studies, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3–6 years in legal tech, enterprise solutions, or comparable professional services work.
• Hands-on generative AI build experience - Harvey strongly preferred - including prompts, Assistants/Agents, and orchestration
• Working knowledge of RAG, vector stores, and grounding for legal content
• Comfort with REST APIs/JSON; Power BI, SQL, and light scripting (JS/Python) a plus
• Strong facilitation skills - able to run sessions with partners and simplify complex systems
• Solid grounding in data governance, responsible AI, and infosec, ideally in a regulated environment
• Familiarity with related legal-tech tools (Lexis+ AI/Protégé, Wendell, Centari, Syntheia, Kira, CoCounsel, etc.) a plus
• Prior experience running sessions, demos, or tech coaching preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Harvey workflows with practice groups across Litigation, Corporate & Financial Services, Asset Management, and more.
• Build Power Automate/Power Platform integrations linking Harvey, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and firm systems to remove manual work.
• Maintain secure RAG knowledge bases, grow the firm's library of reusable workflows and prompt patterns, and apply Responsible AI principles.
• Co-design and run interactive AI sessions and office hours firmwide; triage live, prototyping, and hand off for hardening.
• Track adoption/impact data for leadership and feed case studies, demos, and prompt patterns into the firm's content pipeline.
• Serve as the primary AI contact in the office; support LTA's change management and demo new capabilities.
• Track Harvey/Power Platform developments and communicate to governance and product teams.
• Measure adoption via Harvey and Power BI; translate findings into leadership narratives; collaborate with Applied AI, IT, and Development teams.

What You'll Do

Build & Enable Design and deploy Harvey workflows (Assistants, Vaults, Workflow Builder) with practice groups across Litigation, Corporate & Financial Services, Asset Management, and more. Build Power Automate/Power Platform integrations linking Harvey, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and firm systems to remove manual work. Maintain secure RAG knowledge bases, grow the firm's library of reusable workflows and prompt patterns, and apply Responsible AI principles (privacy, transparency, accountability, oversight) per the firm's ISO/IEC 42001 standard.

Lead Working Sessions Co-design and run interactive AI sessions and office hours firmwide, taking attorneys from idea to working build. Act as technical lead - triaging live, prototyping, and handing off for hardening. Track adoption/impact data for leadership and feed case studies, demos, and prompt patterns into the firm's content pipeline.

Be the Trusted Advisor Serve as the primary AI contact in the office. Support LTA's change management with technical depth, demo new capabilities at practice group meetings, and track Harvey/Power Platform developments worth the firm's attention.

Measure & Improve Track adoption and impact via Harvey and Power BI, translating findings into leadership narratives. Partner with Applied AI, Innovation Advisors, LTA Specialists, IT, and Application Development to scope and sustain projects. Turn requirements into technical plans and relay feedback to governance and product teams.
