Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a highly technical Solutions Engineer specializing in AI infrastructure to support presales activities for DGX and OEM AI platforms. You will design tailored data center solutions, build BOMs, and deliver POCs and demonstrations to customers and internal teams.

You will collaborate with vendors and SHI field teams, translating requirements into actionable architectures and best practices, while helping customers optimize AI workloads and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of presales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting focusing on data center infrastructure.
• Proven expertise with NVIDIA DGX systems, GPU technologies (CUDA/NCCL).
• Hands-on experience configuring AI-optimized solutions on OEM AI servers (Dell/HPE/Lenovo).
• Strong knowledge of data center components: servers, storage, networking, power and cooling.
• Travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events expected.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary AI Infrastructure SME, guiding on NVIDIA DGX platforms and compatible OEM solutions for AI training and HPC workloads.
• Design tailored AI data center solutions based on customer requirements through discovery and workshops.
• Create detailed hardware configurations, including server, storage, networking, and GPU components, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Develop BOMs and reference architectures, deliver POCs and solution demonstrations.
• Collaborate with field sales, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and address technical objections during the sales cycle.
• Stay current on product roadmaps and certifications, document solutions, and train sales teams on AI infrastructure trends.
