Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a highly technical Solutions Engineer focused on AI infrastructure. The role involves designing and recommending GPU-accelerated AI data center solutions based on NVIDIA DGX systems and OEM platforms.

You will work with AGT, SHI customers, and sales teams to translate business needs into optimized infrastructure. Responsibilities include BOM creation, hardware configuration, and performance recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in presales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting focused on data center infrastructure, preferably with AI/ML/HPC workloads.
• Proven expertise with NVIDIA DGX systems, GPU technologies (CUDA, NCCL).
• Hands-on experience with OEM AI server platforms (e.g., Dell, HPE, Lenovo) and configuring AI‑optimized solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data center components: servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary AI Infrastructure SME, providing expert guidance on NVIDIA DGX platforms and compatible OEM solutions for AI training, inference, and HPC workloads.
• Work with customers to design tailored AI data center solutions through discovery and qualification sessions.
• Create detailed hardware configurations, including server, storage, networking, and GPU components for scalable, high-performance deployments.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and power/cooling considerations for proposed solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations, POCs, and demonstrations to customers and internal teams.
• Support field sales by responding to RFPs/RFIs and addressing technical objections during the sales cycle.
