Job summary

Elire invites ambitious students for a Summer 2027 AI Infrastructure & Networking Consulting Internship in Minneapolis. You will gain hands-on exposure to applied AI in a real consulting setting, focusing on cloud networking, security, and scalable containerized infrastructure.

Ideal candidates are Master's/PhD students with practical VCN concepts, Kubernetes, and cloud experience who can document architectures and collaborate with senior staff. Hybrid, paid internship June–August 2027.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing Undergraduate, Masters, PhD in a technical field.
Strong networking fundamentals: IP, subnets, routing, DNS, security.
Hands-on with virtual cloud networking and cloud infra.
Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration.
Ability to deploy, scale, and troubleshoot clusters and infra.
Clear documentation of architectures and decisions.

Responsibilities

Assist design, configure, test, and document AI infra and internal solutions.
Work with virtual cloud network concepts: subnets, routing, connectivity, segmentation.
Evaluate network security controls and secure connectivity requirements.
Deploy and scale containerized environments using Kubernetes or RKE2.
Assess capacity, performance, and scaling for AI/data workloads.
Support automation and repeatable environment config using cloud tools.
Investigate issues, test solutions, and document root causes.
Collaborate with Elire AI leaders and present findings at internship end.
