Rowspace is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design and secure the backbone of our enterprise-grade AI data platform in New York. You will design systems that ensure strict security and compliance for large volumes of sensitive financial data.

The ideal candidate has over 6 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, strong cloud platform knowledge, and a security-minded approach, along with a startup mentality to build robust, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong background in cloud platforms with expertise in containerization.
• Security-minded approach with experience in data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable infrastructure for the AI-powered knowledge engine.
• Implement security-first architecture for private cloud deployments.
• Build robust data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

Skills

Infrastructure engineering experience

Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Containerization and Kubernetes

Data governance experience

ETL and data pipeline technologies

Monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog)

Compliance knowledge (SOC, SOX, GDPR)
