Job summary

Welltower, Inc. in New York seeks an AI Engineer, Platform and Data to build core data pipelines, model orchestration, and APIs that applications rely on. You will own reliability, data integrity, and secure handling of sensitive data in a scalable, production-ready environment.

As a hands-on AI engineering role, you will turn field patterns into reusable platform primitives, orchestrate models and agents, and ensure governance and compliance across systems with robust testing and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, clean, and structure data into a usable form
• Build the model and agent orchestration layer, and the APIs that applications consume
• Turn patterns hand-rolled in the field into reusable platform primitives so future work delivers more without proportional headcount
• Establish data quality frameworks and automated testing to ensure data integrity and reliability
• Own reliability, data integrity, and access control
• Implement data governance practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
