Job summary

FPX AI is seeking a hands-on AI Infrastructure Solutions Architect to lead technical discovery, develop infrastructure designs and support projects from requirements through deployment planning.

You will work directly with customers to translate requirements into practical AI infrastructure recommendations, designing GPU/HPC environments and validating BOMs while guiding vendor proposals and deployment risks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI, GPU, HPC, cloud or data-center infrastructure.
• Experience designing, deploying, operating or troubleshooting multi-node systems.
• Strong knowledge of server architecture, networking and storage.
• Experience creating or reviewing infrastructure BOMs.
• Familiarity with rack-level power, cooling and physical deployment considerations.
• Ability to lead technical customer conversations and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to identify dependencies across multiple infrastructure layers.
• Comfort working through incomplete requirements and ambiguous technical problems.
• High ownership and willingness to stay involved in detailed technical work.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customers and understand workloads, performance requirements and operating constraints.
• Translate customer requirements into practical AI infrastructure recommendations.
• Design multi-node GPU and HPC environments across compute, networking, storage and supporting infrastructure.
• Create and validate bills of materials, technical proposals and architecture diagrams.
• Compare different platforms and explain tradeoffs to technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Review vendor proposals for compatibility, completeness and deployment risk.
• Evaluate whether proposed facilities and deployment environments can support the intended systems.
• Support customer projects through technical diligence, vendor selection and deployment planning.
• Troubleshoot architecture and implementation issues.
• Document lessons learned and help establish internal technical standards and best practices.
