Job summary

Sstrekte Group in Brooklyn is hiring an AI Implementation Specialist to embed AI into how we work. You will sit with the acquisitions, finance, and operations teams, identifying friction and shipping tools that deliver real-time savings.

You will build internal AI tools, agents, dashboards, and automations, and connect our systems so data flows without manual re-entry. The role offers autonomy over the AI roadmap and measurable impact across deal screening, contracts, and market research.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of AI-built tools, agents, dashboards, or automations shipped and measurable impact.
• Daily fluency with AI coding environments and the ability to turn problems into functioning tools in days.
• Ability to orchestrate multi-step AI workflows, including prompts, API calls, and data handling.
• Sufficient technical literacy to read code, debug outputs, and deploy solutions; CS degree not required.
• Judgment on which processes should stay manual vs automated.

Responsibilities

• Audit acquisitions, underwriting, construction, and back-office workflows to identify AI real-time savings.
• Build and deploy automations using no-code/low-code tools and API integrations.
• Create internal agents for deal screening, memo review, lease and contract abstraction, and invoice processing.
• Connect systems (Excel, Procore, Yardi, Outlook, SharePoint, Dropbox) to enable seamless data flow.
• Write prompts, guardrails, and documentation for non-technical users.
• Train teams, drive adoption, and measure hours saved and errors reduced.

Strekte Group is a ground-up real estate development firm developing across Brooklyn. We run lean, move fast, and touch every part of the development stack: acquisitions, entitlements, capital markets, construction, and asset management.

We are hiring an AI Implementation Specialist to embed AI into how we actually work. This is not a research role. You will sit next to the acquisitions, finance, and operations teams, find the highest friction workflows, and ship tools that eliminate them.

What you'll do

• Audit workflows across acquisitions, underwriting, construction, and back office to identify where AI delivers real time savings
• Build and deploy automations using LLM platforms, no code and low code tools, and API integrations
• Create internal agents and assistants for deal screening, offering memo review, lease and contract abstraction, invoice processing, and market research
• Connect our systems (Excel, Procore, Yardi or similar, Outlook, SharePoint, Dropbox) so data flows without manual re-entry
• Write prompts, guardrails, and documentation that make these tools usable by people who are not technical
• Train the team, drive adoption, and measure hours saved and errors reduced
• Own data hygiene, access controls, and responsible use policies

What you bring

• A portfolio of things you actually built using AI. Internal tools, agents, dashboards, automations, scrapers, document pipelines. We care about what shipped and what it replaced, not where you learned it (built 3 apps / 15 agents)
• Daily working fluency with AI coding environments (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, Copilot) and the ability to go from a described problem to a functioning tool in days
• Skill at orchestrating multi step AI workflows: chaining prompts, calling APIs, structuring outputs, handling files, and building agents that run without someone babysitting them
• Enough technical literacy to read code, debug what the model produces, deploy it, and know when an approach will not hold up. Formal CS background is not required
• Judgment about where AI belongs and where it does not. You should be able to tell us which of our processes should stay manual

Advanced Excel and clean data instincts. Real estate, construction, or financial services exposure is a plus

• Bias toward shipping. We would rather have a rough tool live this week than a perfect one next quarter
