Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Implementation & Solutions Associate Director based in United States.

This is a senior consulting and technology leadership role focused on turning AI opportunities into practical, measurable business solutions. You’ll guide clients from early discovery and use-case qualification through prototyping, delivery, and follow-on transformation initiatives. The role combines client relationship management, business development, project leadership, and hands‑on technical understanding of modern AI solutions. You’ll collaborate with executives, engineers, architects, data specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams to shape solutions that are both achievable and scalable. The environment is fast-paced and innovation-driven, with opportunities to work across generative AI, machine learning, agentic systems, cloud platforms, and modern application architectures. This role is ideal for a trusted advisor who can connect technical possibilities with business value and lead teams toward successful outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the full lifecycle of AI implementation opportunities, from initial qualification and discovery through solution shaping, contracting, delivery, and follow-on planning.
  • Partner with account teams and clients to identify new business opportunities, qualify AI use cases, and determine their suitability for rapid prototyping and delivery.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client objectives, workflows, users, data, systems, constraints, and expected business value.
  • Help clients define focused, high-value use cases that can be demonstrated and evaluated through prototypes or pilots.
  • Develop proposals, statements of work, estimates, presentations, project scopes, milestones, deliverables, assumptions, and acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as a primary client contact, building trusted relationships with executives, business stakeholders, and technology leaders throughout engagements.
  • Establish project governance, communication structures, delivery cadence, decision-making processes, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage engagement scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, issues, and financial performance.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including AI engineers, solution architects, designers, data specialists, industry experts, risk professionals, and change specialists.
  • Guide the development of AI prototypes and pilots that address real-world business challenges and demonstrate measurable value.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility, data readiness, integration requirements, implementation complexity, and delivery risks.
  • Provide technical leadership across generative AI, machine learning, agentic systems, retrieval-augmented generation, APIs, data integration, and modern application architectures.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud to support AI solution delivery.
  • Review solution architectures and technical deliverables while contributing hands‑on to architecture, programming, prototyping, troubleshooting, and solution refinement when required.
  • Apply Responsible AI, security, privacy, access control, and governance considerations throughout solution development and implementation.
  • Coordinate staffing, prioritize engagements, monitor capacity, and establish consistent delivery practices, templates, quality standards, and project checkpoints.
  • Coach engineers and other team members on consulting practices, client communication, delivery expectations, and professional development.
  • Capture reusable assets, delivery patterns, lessons learned, and estimates to improve future engagements and accelerate solution delivery.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, engagement performance, outcomes, and opportunities to transition successful projects into production implementations or broader transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
  • 9+ years of experience designing, delivering, or managing technology, data, automation, software, or AI solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client engagements and multidisciplinary technology delivery teams.
  • Proven experience supporting business development, sales pursuits, proposals, estimates, and statements of work.
  • Strong project and engagement management experience across scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and financials.
  • Hands‑on experience with generative AI experimentation, prototyping, or AI-enabled application development.
  • Strong understanding of how AI applications are architected, developed, tested, deployed, integrated, and transitioned into operational environments.
  • Working proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to understand, review, and contribute to application code.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies including generative AI, machine learning, agentic systems, RAG, APIs, data pipelines, and modern application architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executives, business stakeholders, and technical audiences.
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence across multidisciplinary teams and lead effectively without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Experience in consulting or another client-service environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing rapid prototypes, proofs of concept, pilots, or agile software delivery is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud, AI, agile methodologies, or project management are advantageous.
  • Strong commercial mindset, curiosity, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to delivering measurable client outcomes.
Benefits:
  • Base salary: $162,000–$276,000 annually, with placement based on experience, skills, and geographic work location.

  • Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time, with new hires receiving up to 20 days per calendar year.
  • Up to 11 paid holidays annually.
  • Opportunities for professional development, continuous learning, and advancement in a collaborative consulting environment.
  • Exposure to high‑impact AI transformation initiatives and opportunities to work directly with senior client stakeholders.
