Job summary

Carex Consulting Group is seeking an Implementation Lead to own client deployments from discovery to delivery. This role is highly client-facing and requires turning ambiguous needs into actionable solutions, with a focus on AI implementations and cloud tech.

The position supports healthcare clients and involves occasional in-person collaboration in NYC. The role is ideal for someone comfortable in an early-stage, fast-moving environment, collaborating across Product, Development, and GTM teams

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in implementation or client-facing roles.
• Experience implementing AI solutions and cloud knowledge.
• Experience managing external stakeholders and client relationships on complex projects.
• Ability to lead projects with minimal oversight and create structure.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially with stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate across business users, executives, Product and tech teams.
• Experience with SDLC and collaborating with development teams.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, EMR/EHR or similar enterprise software.
• Experience in healthcare tech and understanding privacy, security, and HIPAA.
• Willingness to wear multiple hats in a small, fast-moving org.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and building processes rather than inheriting them.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client-facing lead throughout implementation lifecycle.
• Own project communication, timelines, dependencies, risks, and coordination.
• Lead discovery sessions and workshops to capture goals and requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear workflows and platform fit.
• Identify gaps and drive solutions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Support, leadership, and GTM teams.
• Navigate ambiguous client situations with clear recommendations.
• Work with technical teams throughout implementation and SDLC.
• Help clients adopt the platform within day-to-day operations.
• Contribute to product development and process improvements as needed.
