Advises departments on responsible, high-value adoption of enterprise AI: readiness assessment, use-case prioritization, governance aligned to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, proof-of-concept delivery, and knowledge transfer so County staff can sustain AI capability independently. This is advisory/consulting and organizational-change work - application development is a downstream concern the Specialist coordinates on, not the core job. Currently one req on record; expect volume to grow as public-sector AI adoption matures, and watch for this profile splitting into separate Governance/Strategy vs. AI-Enablement variants.

Experience Required
  • 5+ years (within last 7) leading or supporting enterprise technology or digital-transformation initiatives
  • 3+ years evaluating/implementing AI, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions
  • 2+ years developing AI strategy, readiness assessments, or governance recommendations
  • 2+ years designing/delivering AI POCs, pilots, or production implementations, including validating AI-generated work
