Cerebras Systems in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a software engineer for the Host and Network IO Team to optimize bandwidth and latency across large AI clusters. You will interface with AI application IO teams, cluster architecture, and FPGA/ASIC groups to deliver robust, low‑latency IO solutions.

Responsibilities include building x86/ARM software, designing IO APIs, and leading cross‑functional projects with hardware teams. Strong debugging and RDMA experience are valued.

Formación

• Master’s/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering plus 1 year industry experience, or 3+ years industry experience.
• Experience in large software environments and embedded systems.
• Willingness to learn network switches and debugging tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop x86 & ARM software to expose next‑generation IO capabilities for AI/HPC teams.
• Govern a generic IO API with multiple internal users.
• Develop control/config subsystems interfacing with Cerebras hardware.
• Drive network performance debugging for large AI clusters.
• Gather/analyze network statistics to root-cause bottlenecks.
• Develop telemetry/tools for visibility into the IO datapath.
• Optimize CPU/memory using kernel bypass/zero-copy.
• Integrate new networking protocols and technologies.
• Lead cross-functional projects spanning software/hardware.
• Foster clear communication across teams and stakeholders.
