Job summary

AMD is seeking an experienced AI systems engineer to design scalable AI/HPC clusters with a focus on compliance with customer requirements. You will review compute, storage, networking, and power delivery components to optimize performance across global deployments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, have strong knowledge of GPU/CPU architectures, PCIe, InfiniBand, and Ethernet networking, and contribute to building efficient compute platforms for AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience in HPC, AI systems/clusters, or data center engineering.
• Strong knowledge of rack and cluster design.
• Familiarity with GPU/CPU architectures, PCIe, and networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable AI/HPC clusters including compute, storage, and networking.
• Review and select CPUs/GPUs, accelerators, interconnects, and memory configurations.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, and data-center teams to deliver reliable compute infrastructure.
