Job summary

Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an AI Data & Security Governance Engineer to design governance-as-code, deploy automated security controls, and manage data access infra across cloud environments.

You will ensure secure LLM deployments and compliance while integrating guardrails into CI/CD pipelines. The role requires 5+ years in software/data/security, strong Python/SQL/Bash/Go skills, and experience with AI/ML Ops and governance platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software, data, or security engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of programming in Python/SQL/Bash/Go or similar languages.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with AI/ML Ops deploying and securing ML models in production.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with DevOps/Automation CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with governance platforms like Collibra/Immuta/Privacera.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with frameworks/audits like NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain granular RBAC and identity management across cloud infra and internal tools.
• Build automated data masking, anonymization, and encryption in data pipelines.
• Secure distributed storage and ensure secure configurations for compute instances and databases.
• Hardening Cloud IAM, secret management, and zero-trust data access patterns.
• Design secure vector databases with tenant isolation and metadata filtering.
• Engineer and deploy safeguards for LLMs, including input/output filtering.
• Integrate automated security scanning and model evaluations into CI/CD deployments.
• Build telemetry to monitor model drift and compliance in real time.
• Develop automated metadata extraction and data lineage processes.
• Create automated reporting scripts and dashboards for security audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
