Job summary

The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Consultant to support the day-to-day execution of an enterprise AI risk governance program in New York. This hybrid role requires coordinating across governance, risk, and business partners to move AI use cases through review efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–6 years of governance, risk, or compliance operations experience.
• Experience supporting governance or risk assessment workflows.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or AI risk governance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Governance Operations & Workflow: Coordinate intake and progression of AI risk reviews, maintain queues and status, route requests, track follow-ups, escalate issues when needed.
• Meeting Coordination: Support governance forums by coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and materials, documenting decisions and action items, ensure follow-up.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Central point of contact for business requestors and governance team, provide clear process communications and updates.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain audit-ready governance records, procedures, templates, and supporting documentation; prepare status updates and reports.
