Job summary

Veritas Search Group seeks an experienced AI Governance & Enablement Advisor to help assess, formalize, and strengthen an organization's AI governance program. This is a strategic advisory and coaching role focused on governance, risk management, organizational enablement, and long-term capability building rather than hands-on technical execution.

Qualifications

• Experience building or improving an AI governance, GRC, security, privacy, or risk-management program.
• Experience in regulated or complex enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894.
• Strong communication and ability to advise executives across legal, compliance, security, tech, and business.
• Ability to coach teams and enable organizational capability without hands-on coding.

Responsibilities

• Assess current AI governance program and identify gaps and opportunities.
• Advise leaders on AI use cases, risk, approvals, accountability, and decision-making.
• Help establish or refine AI governance policies, standards, intake processes, risk assessments, and operating procedures.
• Support development of an AI Center of Excellence.
• Guide implementation and adoption of AI governance tools and workflows.
• Partner with legal, compliance, security, technology, and business stakeholders.
• Coach internal teams and transfer knowledge for autonomous operation.
