Job summary

PMI in the United States seeks a researcher to support its research agenda across hands-on insights and foresight studies, with an emphasis on AI and the future of work. You will coordinate with the Manager, Research & Insights to keep thought leadership evidence-led and aligned to business priorities.

Responsibilities include translating data into executive-ready narratives, leading independent research initiatives, and collaborating across functions to strengthen PMI’s strategic guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s strongly preferred in economics, business, public policy, international relations, strategy, computer science, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in research, insights, analytics, strategy, or related roles such as management consulting or macroeconomic research.
• Experience researching AI trends, technology disruption, or the future of work.
• Demonstrated experience leading trends, foresight, or macroeconomic research independently.
• Experience translating research into executive-facing insights, narratives, and strategic recommendations.
• Experience working in matrixed or global environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills; comfortable with qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Fluent in English; ability to synthesize multi-source information into strategic insight.
