Job summary

Guidehouse Technology is seeking an AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable AI-enabled full-stack web applications on AWS. You will work with ReactJS frontend, Java/Python backend, and relational databases, while applying secure coding, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.

You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders in an Agile/SAFe setting to deliver high-impact government-oriented solutions and leverage Generative AI-assisted

Qualifications

• Obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for backend development and API design.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for modern frontend development.
• Experience deploying applications in AWS and with RESTful APIs, Git, and microservices concepts.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Amazon Aurora).
• Familiarity with accessibility principles (Section 508).
• Interest in AI-enabled software capabilities and Generative AI-assisted coding tools.
• Understanding of secure coding, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and application security basics.
• Ability to operate in Agile/SAFe environments and contribute to sprint activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled full-stack web applications on AWS.
• Build frontend interfaces with ReactJS and backend services with Java or Python.
• Develop RESTful APIs, business logic, and microservice-compatible components.
• Work with relational databases and SQL queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Aurora).
• Implement workflow automation and data visualization features for decision support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Apply Generative AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, and documentation while maintaining quality.
