Job summary

Cognizant Forward is seeking a Frontier Engineer (AI/Agentic) to help build scalable, secure AI-enabled solutions. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and AI practitioners in a small, cross-functional pod.

This hybrid role requires 3-4 days per week in Cognizant offices in Plano, TX, Teaneck, NJ, Bridgewater, NJ, or client locations; you will work to deliver measurable outcomes for clients while advancing responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• Recent graduate or early-career professional with technical experience.
• Interest in software development, cloud technologies, AI.

Responsibilities

• Use AI-assisted tools to build, test, deploy, and enhance software.
• Support AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, and automation.
• Evaluate AI outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance.
• Contribute to knowledge systems, retrieval workflows, and monitoring.
• Apply responsible AI principles and continue learning new tools.
