Job summary

Institute of Foundation Models in Sunnyvale seeks a Community Development Manager to expand real-world adoption of its foundation models. You will help build a vibrant developer ecosystem, run workshops, and forge partnerships to promote API usage and open innovation.

Collaborate with Product, Research, and Engineering to translate research outputs into practical docs, onboarding, and support for external developers and partners. Strong communication and open-source collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential degree in CS/IT/engineering or related field; 3–6 years in developer relations or external-facing roles.
• Ability to translate research outputs into practical docs, examples, and API usage.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture a developer and user community around IFM models, APIs, and tools.
• Plan and run workshops, hackathons, webinars, and training sessions to showcase model capabilities.
• Develop partnerships with industry, government, and academia to promote adoption and open innovation.
• Represent IFM at external events and track community impact metrics.
