Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks an AI Forward Principal Engineer I to provide SME guidance across Lending and Loan Operations. You will design APIs with APIM on Azure, lead cross-functional teams, and mentor engineers while aligning with regulatory requirements and platform standards.

You will partner with architecture, product, and business stakeholders to define solution strategies that accelerate delivery and ensure safe, compliant solutions across the LSF/OSF platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex programs.
• Experience designing cloud-native apps on Azure and building APIs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME expertise across Lending/Omni Service Fabric domains to ensure safe, compliant solutions.
• Lead design and delivery for Azure-based API and integration efforts with APIM.
• Mentor engineers and promote AI-forward, cloud-first practices.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, and business stakeholders on solution strategies.
