Job summary

Theron Solutions is seeking a senior software/AI engineer to own end-to-end technical delivery from discovery to production. You will design scalable backend services and APIs, lead prototyping, and guide cross-functional teams across software, AI, data, cloud, and platform technologies.

You will also mentor junior engineers, review code for quality and security, and ensure observability and cost-conscious AI integration in enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business problems and constraints.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Own end-to-end technical implementation from discovery to production deployment.
• Design and develop application services, APIs, integrations and AI-enabled solutions.
• Hands-on coding, debugging, code reviews and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead rapid prototyping and Proof-of-Concept development.
• Define architecture, APIs, data flows and deployment approaches.
• Guide engineers across software, AI, data, cloud and platform technologies.
• Review code for quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Diagnose complex production issues and drive prototype-to-production delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
