Job summary

Fireclay Tile is seeking an AI-first UI/UX Designer to own design for fireclaytile.com, with end‑to‑end responsibility from concept to build. You’ll manage Shopify Plus backend, align with our internal developers, and drive custom projects including Salesforce/Shopify integrations.

You’ll collaborate with Growth Marketing on landing pages and CRO, leveraging AI tooling to maximize conversions while maintaining a fast, accessible, mobile‑first experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience for e‑commerce, with significant Shopify Plus depth.
• Expert in Figma, producing build-ready specs for developers.
• Fluent in Shopify Plus admin with HTML/CSS/Liquid literacy for QA and prototyping.
• Experience in Home category (tile, flooring, furniture, decor) for visual merchandising and long purchase journeys.
• Self‑directed and able to direct remote/offshore developers with strong ecommerce instincts.

Responsibilities

• Own UI/UX design for fireclaytile.com end to end—from concept through build-ready specs.
• Handle Shopify Plus backend configuration: products, collections, metafields, checkout, apps, navigation, discounts.
• Lead design for custom development projects with internal dev team and Salesforce/Shopify integration.
• Partner with Growth Marketing on landing pages and CRO experiments using AI tools to amplify output.
• Collaborate with leadership to understand market direction and translate it into UX decisions.
