Job summary

Telnyx LLC is seeking a curiosity-driven, technically minded support engineer to tackle complex customer issues across voice, messaging, APIs, IoT, and AI products. You will dig into networking problems, debug integrations, and analyze logs with engineering teams.

As part of an AI-first support model, you’ll help build bots, automate workflows, and turn repetitive tasks into cron jobs, leveraging Postman, cURL, Wireshark, Linux, and scripting to resolve cases and improve self-service resources.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of how the Internet works (DNS, routing, IP addressing, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, Postman or cURL.
• Linux terminal proficiency for log navigation and commands.
• Strong problem-solving and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex customer issues across networking, APIs, and communications products.
• Investigate using Postman, cURL, Wireshark, Linux terminal, and internal tools.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and engineering to resolve cases.
• Automate workflows and contribute to bot-building and self-service resources.
• Document solutions and improve knowledge bases.
• Learn VoIP protocols, internal systems, and new technologies as the role evolves.
