Deltek, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join our desktop-based Project Portfolio Management platform team. You will learn rapidly, collaborate with experienced engineers, and utilize AI-first development with Claude Code in a full agentic lifecycle. The role emphasizes customer outcomes and practical delivery.

Qualifications

• Recent computer science/software engineering graduate or near graduation.
• Familiar with OO languages such as .NET, Java, or JavaScript.
• Foundational understanding of APIs, databases and enterprise apps.
• Strong problem solving and rapid learning mindset.
• Interest in AI-driven development and GenAI tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and evolution of enterprise software solutions.
• Build and enhance APIs, UX, back-end services, and databases.
• Work across desktop, client/server, n-tier, SaaS and cloud environments.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to plan, implement, test, and review code.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and quality-focused practices.
• Collaborate with product, UX, QA and engineering to solve customer problems.
• Explore AI-driven capabilities like automation, copilots, and agentic workflows.
