Job summary

Klaviyos is building an AI-first People Technologies team. We seek a Lead AI Engineer to shape architecture, standards and long‑term vision for AI across the employee lifecycle.

You will partner with People Ops, Talent, Finance and Security to design AI-powered workflows, copilots, and integrations with Workday, Greenhouse, Sana, and internal platforms, while ensuring responsible AI practices and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering or data engineering experience.
• 2+ years building AI/ML or LLM-powered solutions.
• Strong ability to translate vague problems into scalable tech.

Responsibilities

• Reimagine People workflows (recruiting, onboarding, performance) with an AI-first lens.
• Design and build AI-powered copilots and agents across the employee lifecycle.
• Architect systems integrating Workday, Greenhouse, Sana, and internal platforms.
• Define best practices for prompt engineering, evaluation, and governance.
• Enable AI use cases that accelerate execution and improve decision making.
